Pete's Sports wound up on the wrong side of a 9-3 score on Monday (4/30) at Field #1, tasting defeat at the hands of Creamer Tile.
M. Torres was hot from the plate for Pete's Sports. Torres went 1-2 and drove in one. He singled in the third .
Z. Carr got the win for Creamer Tile to improve to 4-0. He tossed 2 2/3 innings of shutout ball. Carr struck out five, walked one and gave up one hit.
Creamer Tile was sparked by B. Carrell and L. Carr, who teamed up for four hits and four RBIs.
Pete's Sports managed to score one run in the first inning on a groundout by Torres.
The game was never in doubt after the first, as Creamer Tile scored six runs on two doubles, an error, and a fielder's choice.

M. Gammell had three RBI's, sparking Kiwanis to an 8-6 victory in five innings over Round Table on Thursday (4/26) at Field #1.
Gammell homered in the fifth inning becoming the first female in Madera Little League history to hit a ball "out of the park!"
K. Gomez got the win in relief for Kiwanis. Gomez pitched two innings and allowed one run. |

 The 2012 Madera National Little League Carnival and Picture Day is Saturday, April 28th. Carnival Activities will begin at 9:00 AM and Team Pictures will start at 10:00 AM.

Mazon Trucking outhits Sam Balbas Paint in 5-4 defeat |

Mazon Trucking lost 5-4 in four innings at Field #1 on Saturday (4/21), despite outhitting Sam Balbas Paint eight to two.
A. Diaz-Barriga was solid at the plate for Mazon Trucking. Diaz-Barriga went 1-2 and scored two runs. He tripled in the second inning.
A. Palacios had an impressive outing against Sam Balbas Paint's lineup. Palacios gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out five during his 1 2/3 innings of work.
I. Murrillo got the win in relief for Sam Balbas Paint. Murrillo pitched two innings and allowed three runs.
The bottom of the first saw Sam Balbas Paint take an early lead, 2-0. Sam Balbas Paint pushed more runs across when E. Dilbeck scored on a walk by Murrillo.
Mazon Trucking matched its one-run second inning with one more in the fourth. In the second, Mazon Trucking scored on an RBI single by C. Mazon, bringing home Diaz-Barriga.
The game was never in doubt after the fourth, as Sam Balbas Paint scored three runs on three bases loaded walks.
